The program begins Friday October 17 at 1 pm with a media luncheon and sneak peek at the all-new Jeep Renegade compact sport-utility vehicle. Following the Jeep presentation, credentialed media are invited to drive other vehicles on site for the ALV competition on and off-road and speak with product specialists. On Saturday October 18, teams of athletes along with members of the ALV jury panel, celebrity judges and local media gather at Local Motors to drive and vote on this year’s vehicle entries.

Celebrity judges include representatives from Arizona Legends, retired NFL players of Arizona, elite triathlete Jenna Parker, Fit Mom Diet ambassador Joyce Emily, Active.com founder Jim Woodman, Sole Sports owners Karen Seymour and Lance Muzslay, and Hub Fitness owners Ross and Daradee Murray.

A rolling lunch begins at 11:30 am. Voting concludes at 12:30.

Following lunch, participants are invited to vote on the ten finalists in the second annual Local Motors active lifestyle vehicle design competition presented by XPEL technologies, and participate in a drift trike autocross competition on the Local Motors campus. The awards ceremony concludes the program, beginning at 2 pm. Local Motors is located at 1576 South Nelson Drive in Chandler, Arizona, near the Wild Horse Pass Boulevard exit off the I-10 freeway.
