McD’s Not So Happy Meal

photoThe happiest things in life should make us smile and feel good both mentally and physically. However, how can a food item be described with the words “happy” and “meal” if they cause so much destruction? Shame on McDonald’s for this one. One of our readers, Gia Jurevich, and her son were curious about all of the bad things they heard about the longevity of the fast food chain’s meals due to heaving processing and unnatural ingredients and decided to hold their own experiment. This “not so happy meal” was left on their garage workbench for five entire months. The result? The burger, fries, and nuggets were completely intact with no mold and no nibbles from bugs, ants, mice, etc. Talk about preservatives. Eat at your own risk people, but we know you are smarter than that.
