Fit Father Devin McCourty of the New England Patriots

Fatherhood has been amazing to me so far and I look forward to raising my child and strengthening the family bond. From Fit Father and husband responsibilities to playing on the field for the Patriots I have always approached every task with top leadership qualities. It’s been a joy watching my little girl grow and shine in just this first month. I’m eagerly anticipating my obligations along the way while showing her how to be a great and honorable individual.

Kimatni Rawlins’ Health & Wellness Reboot Services

Kimatni-Rawlins-Fit-Fathers-Maryland-Personal-Trainers_
Hello friends and family. As you can see, an extension to the Fit Fathers movement is my lifestyle reboot services to help those in need as it relates to life enhancement and ultimate wellness. The approach is 3-pronged:

1) fitness training 2) nutrition education 3) mindset reprogramming

It is imperative that we unlearn what we have learned, especially with food and eating habits. I will grocery shop with you, show you how to dissect food labels, provide unlimited consultation, suggest books and documentaries to read and view and train you at my garage gym in Silver Spring, MD, at LA Fitness or outside at tracks and parks. I also host local and national group workouts as well as abroad.

Of course many of you know I have been doing this for the last few years but recently decided to manifest my intentions and turn the opportunity into a business model. If you are ready for positive change or simply wish to reboot to a higher elevation then I’m your man. Or you may know someone in need. Remember, eat clean, stay active and continue to energize your life.

Damon Redmond on Fatherhood

Fit-Fathers-Damon-Redmond-Park

Being a father is one thing, but living the lifestyle of a Fit Father means so much more when it comes to raising energetic and healthy children. We are proud to be a part of the Fit Fathers movement which empowers dads of all nationalities and ages to take part in healthier living. Spearheaded by Kimatni Rawlins, the fatherhood platform keeps me accountable in relation to my family and I exercising and making positive choices.

Fit-Fathers-Damon-Redmond-FatherhoodI teach my children the importance of knowledge of self, honesty, building strong connections with family and close friends and living a nourishing and productive lifestyle. Life is not just about working and taking vacations. There comes a point when we have to realize what our priorities are and the impact they have on everything else important to us.

As I mature and witness my son and daughter develop and grow, it has become central to pay close attention to my eating and exercise habits so that I will be around longer to enjoy quality time with them and friends alike.

Fit Fathers is the beginning of something much greater than what it is today and I am personally excited to be a part of the journey.

Stay Active My Friends!!

Meet John Engler: From Smoker to Runner

Fit_Fathers_John_EnglerWelcome to the newfound health promoting world of John Engler, an Austin, Texas father of two who recently quit smoking and took up running after his son Jack asked for help in learning how to run. John obliged and in the process of striding with Jack they collectively learned to love the energizing fitness activity. Pretty soon up to 12 neighborhood kids and two other dads became involved for evening runs on Mondays and Wednesdays. Way to go John, and please do keep us posted on this amazing group.

Question for readers: Have you ever thought about organizing a group like this in your neighborhood? Well, as Nike would say, just do it. You just might be surprised at how many individuals will want to get out and kick it with you! Remember, stay active, eat clean and continue to energize your life!

Dads who exercise consistently, eat well and energize their physique can live longer and live stronger!

Mission: To provide dads with the tools needed to engage their family in fitness, positive wellness and healthy living while celebrating the true meaning of fatherhood. “Stay active, eat clean and continue to energize your life” is our life enhancing mantra.

Vision: Offer continuous education on the benefits of an overall healthy lifestyle which is key. Awareness of chronic diseases causation and the need for daily exercise is becoming more apparent as cellular degeneration strikes faster due to a S.A.D diet, lethargic attitudes and habitual work cycles over family and personal cycles.

Screen Shot 2015-11-24 at 10.25.54 AMIn today’s technologically-driven society, where never-ending work demands and over-connectivity have become the “new normal,” health, nutrition, quality family interaction and exercise are being neglected. Fast food, sodas, gaming and digital communication have supplanted home-cooked meals, adventurous family vacations, reading, direct personal communication and active living. With this wave of mass digital confusion and lack of healthy living, kids, for the first time, are expected to have a shorter life expectancy than their parents. [Read more…]
