Roberto Tapia on Fit Fatherhood

My fatherhood habits are a lifestyle, an expression of love that has a beginning but no end. It’s a choice we make for 24 hours. The path I chose to be a Fit Father requires more sacrifice than any career but is also far more rewarding since my love for my kids is unconditional. I wouldn’t change the circumstances for the world!

Fit Father Devin McCourty of the New England Patriots

Fatherhood has been amazing to me so far and I look forward to raising my child and strengthening the family bond. From Fit Father and husband responsibilities to playing on the field for the Patriots I have always approached every task with top leadership qualities. It’s been a joy watching my little girl grow and shine in just this first month. I’m eagerly anticipating my obligations along the way while showing her how to be a great and honorable individual.

Fatherhood by Micah Khan

Fatherhood is the most rewarding and fulfilling gift one can ever have. It is also the greatest responsibility given by God.  The decisions a father makes are no longer about self but about the legacy you choose to leave for your children and family. A father is called to protect his seeds and namesake everyday while instilling  them with values and morals that will develop the potential, purpose, and destiny for their lives that will be carried from generation to generation.  The challenge is great but there is no greater joy than  unconditionally loving another being you would die for.

Being a father is one thing, but living the lifestyle of a Fit Father means so much more when it comes to raising energetic and healthy children. We are proud to be a part of the Fit Fathers movement which empowers dads of all nationalities and ages to take part in healthier living. Spearheaded by Kimatni Rawlins, the fatherhood platform keeps me accountable in relation to my family and I exercising and making positive choices.

Fit-Fathers-Damon-Redmond-FatherhoodI teach my children the importance of knowledge of self, honesty, building strong connections with family and close friends and living a nourishing and productive lifestyle. Life is not just about working and taking vacations. There comes a point when we have to realize what our priorities are and the impact they have on everything else important to us.

As I mature and witness my son and daughter develop and grow, it has become central to pay close attention to my eating and exercise habits so that I will be around longer to enjoy quality time with them and friends alike.

Fit Fathers is the beginning of something much greater than what it is today and I am personally excited to be a part of the journey.

Fit Fatherhood defined by James Paul Swink and Family

James Swink and Family - Fit Father

When my wife showed me the Fit Fathers website and the 2015 Fit Fathers Day celebration in Silver Spring, MD, I was immediately on board. Fit Fatherhood is an inspirational platform to help fathers stay in shape for the health benefits and to keep up with their energetic kiddos as they grow into athletes. The website is full of nutritional eating tips, social workouts, healthy lifestyle ideas and fun family activities. Becoming a father is one of the most rewarding and challenging events of my life. My perspective on the world continuously changes as I try to be the best father I can to my two girls. It certainly helps tremendously by having such a loving and devoted wife as we raise these two rambunctious, beautiful ladies and adopt the Fit Fathers platform to our lifestyle! I applaud the founders for their inspiration and vision as they cultivate a friendly environment for all through their social outreach and events. Keep up the great work!

Fit Fathers is excited to welcome the Green Bay Packers’ Adrian Coxson  to Fit Fathers Day. The Baltimore native will join our social workout and address the family-friendly audience on the importance of fatherhood and nutrition.

“Firstly, I would like to applaud Fit Fathers for creating a platform for dads and their families to come together and celebrate the importance of health and fatherhood,” stated Adrian. “Becoming a parent is the greatest accomplishment of my life and I look forward to continued fellowship with other male role models and their children on Fit Fathers Day 2015. Fatherhood is the lifeline of a man’s legacy!”

Adrian is also an avid community activist. He has witnessed many unfortunate situations in his community especially with homelessness. According to the Baltimore Homeless Services, there are an estimated 2,638 men, women and children who are homeless in the city of Baltimore on any given night. His short term goal is to provide nourishment and social interaction to this group. We all need someone to speak with and communication is one of the key solutions to relieve communities of their issues. Adrian appreciates any efforts donations or volunteers to the cause.

So come out to Silver Spring, MD and meet Adrian on June 21st as we celebrate fatherhood together.

Fit-Fathers-Ryan-StewartI cannot think of two better reasons to make sure I’m a part of the Fit Fathers team. My two little men need me around to ascertain they grow into strong and focused men. Staying fit, eating healthy and teaching them the core fundamentals of life will assure me that opportunity. I want to thank Fit Fathers founder and former Georgia Tech Football roommate and teammate Kimatni D. Rawlins for his knowledge and wisdom, and more importantly, for being a true friend.  Stay blessed!

Jaime Gabaldoni, Automotive Test Driver

Fit-Fathers-Jaimie-GabaldoniFor me, happiness has always been the main objective in life. With this ongoing quest I encounter countless forms of distractions which make it harder to achieve this simple but challenging purpose. However, after becoming a single father the objective remained the same, the impact was greater, and the journey was no longer a lonely one. The Fit Fathers lifestyle helps me focus on the greatest goal and has become the main example in life for my son Luca.

At the short age of 6, he understands the importance of exercising and practicing smart nutrition for a nourishing and blissful life. He is also aware of the impact a healthy lifestyle has on our world for future generations, not to mention being compassionate for all living creatures. So far we are having a great time practicing and enjoying as many outdoor activities as possible. I am constantly challenging Luca to escape his comfort zone and learn new skills that will help him build solid confidence. More importantly, I encourage him to keep it fun while navigating his own path to achieve happiness.

Being a Fit Father is a full-time job alone. Managing the household, providing guidance, stability and even entertainment is a juggling act. Add in transportation and logistics to all extracurricular activities and you have the most intense job on the planet with its only rivalry coming from motherhood. My family is the most important thing in the world to me! I owe it to them to be around for as long as possible.

Heart disease and diabetes are the health enemies that plague my family tree and I refuse to succumb to them. A reality check came a few months ago, nothing severe, just an alarming inability to function or compete on the level I was accustomed to. From the age of 8 years old I played football and lacrosse and competed in track. Starting is all I’ve known and winning is all I’ve known. I would always tell my sons “it’s in the genes.” [Read more…]
