AAWALK – DC 5K Walk & Run Saturday, September 21, 2019

Founded in Columbus, Ohio in 2004, the National African American Male Wellness Walk Initiative (AAWALK)  works to combat the alarming numbers of African American men dying from preventable diseases. To date, the AAWALK averages upwards of 50,000 annual participants and has expanded to several cities outside of Ohio, including Washington, D.C.  On Saturday, September 21st 2019 at Anacostia Park in Washington, DC, men, women, and children will come together for the 2019 Washington D.C.
