Travel Fitness: Fit Fathers in Monterey for Cali Roots

Welcome to Monterey, CA for the “Cali Roots” Memorial Weekend reggae festival. But, before we headed over to the Monterey Fairgrounds the team worked out with top effort. First was a 30-minute strength training session in the Hyatt’s “Stay Fit” gym, then a 3-mile run around the 22-acre property and finished up with wind sprints in the courtyard. Plus, the crew will walk a mile to the concerts, traverse the grounds for hours and finally walk back to the hotel. This is easy work when you eat nutritious whole foods daily, drink water over sugary drinks, exercise on most days and maintain overall positive vibrations. Lead by example my people. One Love!

Well look no further as Los Angeles Ram, Fit Father and New York native Dominique Easley presents “Easley’s Awareness Football Camp!” According to the Super Bowl Champ this will be the biggest and greatest football camp in the Tri-State area this summer.
Easley will be joined by his NFL friends Jordan Reed of the Washington Redskins, Shariff Floyd of the Minnesota Vikings, Jamie Collins of the New England Patriots, Matt Elam of the Baltimore Ravens and Deion Barnes of the Jets.

June is Men’s Health Month and today is also Move It Monday so you have two meaningful reasons to energize your body. Let’s start by taking a plank challenge with friends, families or co-workers. How about beginning with a 30 second plank today (3 sets) and increasing it by five seconds each subsequent day for the next sevens days.
