Styves Exantus on Fit Fatherhood

A Fit Father means being both the teacher and the student. One day my daughter stated, “you don’t know what it’s like as a kid!” We were in disagreement about a topic and that statement made a major imprint in my mind. I was born in 1983, my daughter was born in 2006 and my son was born in 2017. We will all experience different social trends, advancements in technology, job markets, education, etc. Now, my mindset is learning what it is like to be a kid in 2018 and help her be successful and create characteristics that will be impactful in today’s society. My son will go through a different world when he is 5, 10 and 15 than we all did. Specific moral codes will remain law but the way they move will change and vary differently in comparison to the generation before them.

As Fit Fathers we know that we are teachers, providers and protectors, but continuously learning about the world our kids are living in will be an ongoing journey. My children will look to me for guidance and I will look to them for understanding of the daily triumphs and tribulations they face. Together we will keep each other growing.

EJ Kaku on Fit Fatherhood

When I ponder on what it means to be a Fit Father I think of the word “serve.” Serve, like “love” has so many connotations such as being present when your children take their first step. Other shining examples include offering words of wisdom, taking care of them when they are ill, holding them tightly during hard times and celebrating during good times. Fathers offer so much value within the family structure, yet the greatest asset for each is to be a shining example.

When we serve we are setting the bar high in a positive manner and that is what leaders do. Being a great leader for your family will do so much for your children. You may not know it but they watch everything that we do and strive to be just like us. Leading by example will allow them to carry your life lessons into their own character traits.  Yes, every dad should be a leader and a server.

Roberto Tapia on Fit Fatherhood

My fatherhood habits are a lifestyle, an expression of love that has a beginning but no end. It’s a choice we make for 24 hours. The path I chose to be a Fit Father requires more sacrifice than any career but is also far more rewarding since my love for my kids is unconditional. I wouldn’t change the circumstances for the world!

Fit Father Devin McCourty of the New England Patriots

Fatherhood has been amazing to me so far and I look forward to raising my child and strengthening the family bond. From Fit Father and husband responsibilities to playing on the field for the Patriots I have always approached every task with top leadership qualities. It’s been a joy watching my little girl grow and shine in just this first month. I’m eagerly anticipating my obligations along the way while showing her how to be a great and honorable individual.

Fatherhood by Micah Khan

Fatherhood is the most rewarding and fulfilling gift one can ever have. It is also the greatest responsibility given by God.  The decisions a father makes are no longer about self but about the legacy you choose to leave for your children and family. A father is called to protect his seeds and namesake everyday while instilling  them with values and morals that will develop the potential, purpose, and destiny for their lives that will be carried from generation to generation.  The challenge is great but there is no greater joy than  unconditionally loving another being you would die for.

Being a father is one thing, but living the lifestyle of a Fit Father means so much more when it comes to raising energetic and healthy children. We are proud to be a part of the Fit Fathers movement which empowers dads of all nationalities and ages to take part in healthier living. Spearheaded by Kimatni Rawlins, the fatherhood platform keeps me accountable in relation to my family and I exercising and making positive choices.

Fit-Fathers-Damon-Redmond-FatherhoodI teach my children the importance of knowledge of self, honesty, building strong connections with family and close friends and living a nourishing and productive lifestyle. Life is not just about working and taking vacations. There comes a point when we have to realize what our priorities are and the impact they have on everything else important to us.

As I mature and witness my son and daughter develop and grow, it has become central to pay close attention to my eating and exercise habits so that I will be around longer to enjoy quality time with them and friends alike.

Fit Fathers is the beginning of something much greater than what it is today and I am personally excited to be a part of the journey.

James Swink and Family - Fit Father

When my wife showed me the Fit Fathers website and the 2015 Fit Fathers Day celebration in Silver Spring, MD, I was immediately on board. Fit Fatherhood is an inspirational platform to help fathers stay in shape for the health benefits and to keep up with their energetic kiddos as they grow into athletes. The website is full of nutritional eating tips, social workouts, healthy lifestyle ideas and fun family activities. Becoming a father is one of the most rewarding and challenging events of my life. My perspective on the world continuously changes as I try to be the best father I can to my two girls. It certainly helps tremendously by having such a loving and devoted wife as we raise these two rambunctious, beautiful ladies and adopt the Fit Fathers platform to our lifestyle! I applaud the founders for their inspiration and vision as they cultivate a friendly environment for all through their social outreach and events. Keep up the great work!

Fit Fathers is excited to welcome the Green Bay Packers’ Adrian Coxson  to Fit Fathers Day. The Baltimore native will join our social workout and address the family-friendly audience on the importance of fatherhood and nutrition.

“Firstly, I would like to applaud Fit Fathers for creating a platform for dads and their families to come together and celebrate the importance of health and fatherhood,” stated Adrian. “Becoming a parent is the greatest accomplishment of my life and I look forward to continued fellowship with other male role models and their children on Fit Fathers Day 2015. Fatherhood is the lifeline of a man’s legacy!”

Adrian is also an avid community activist. He has witnessed many unfortunate situations in his community especially with homelessness. According to the Baltimore Homeless Services, there are an estimated 2,638 men, women and children who are homeless in the city of Baltimore on any given night. His short term goal is to provide nourishment and social interaction to this group.
